1. Information Collection and Use
Focus Buddy is designed to collect no user data whatsoever. We do not collect any personal information, device data, or any other data from users of the App. All of your timer settings, custom presets, theme preferences, and streak history are stored only on your device (and shared locally between the App, its home screen widget, and its Live Activity via an iOS App Group), and are never transmitted to us or to any server.
2. Permissions
The App may request permission to send you local notifications, which are used solely to alert you when a focus or rest session ends. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — no notification content or related data is sent to us or to any third party. You can disable this permission at any time in your device's Settings without affecting the App's core timer functionality.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not use any cookies, tracking technologies, analytics, or similar methods to track your activities on the App.
4. In-App Purchases
Focus Buddy offers an optional, repeatable "Support Development" purchase processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive or store any payment, billing, or card information — all purchase transactions are handled directly by Apple in accordance with Apple's own privacy practices.
5. Third-Party Services
Focus Buddy does not integrate with any third-party services or platforms that would collect user data.
6. Children's Privacy
Focus Buddy is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under the age of 13, please contact us immediately at ripwallet.cr@gmail.com, and we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
7. Data Security
We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard security measures to protect any potential data that could be collected. However, since we do not collect any user data, there is no personal or sensitive information to secure on our end — your timer data remains under your control, stored locally on your own device.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will always be available within the App. Any updates to the Privacy Policy will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes to the Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
